James Onen popularly known as Fatboy has advised lovers to normalize being cheated on should they decide to date someone.
He made the shocking remarks giving reference to how the same attitude has helped him be at peace knowing that human beings aren't perfect.
“Love, marriage and romance is not for the faint hearted. A lot of people out there are for the streets so if you expect that everything is going to be peachy, then you're in for a big surprise. Why don't you emulate me? If you're going into a relationship, then know that these things are possible,” the Presenter advised.
He went on to add, “If anyone were to date me, I'd be like the best boyfriend. I would not disturb you. Are you going out with guy friends? Or are you going to watch movies at a guy’s place? I won't ask you questions, I'll just let you be.”
Startled by the remarks, his co-host Olive Najjuma once again asked Fatboy whether he would be okay knowing that his girlfriend was out with another man.
He assured her by replying, “Yes, as long as we are happy when we are together, I don't mind what happens when you're not with me. I mean that is how you have to restructure your brain if you date, otherwise you’ll commit suicide.”
Fatboy then confessed that the attitude he has about relationships resulted from experience and many tears.
The confessions were stirred by NBS Television Presenter Casmir Mukisa Kimenyi aka MC Casmir who was on Wednesday red-handed sleeping with another man’s wife.
In the video that has since made rounds on social media, the presenter and the married woman confessed to having had intercourse and both begged for forgiveness from the man taking the video, presumed to be the woman’s husband.
The RX Radio Presenters further commented that cheating in a relationship doesn't indicate the loss of love for a partner in a relationship but rather that an underlying situation one of the partners may be going through at the moment.
Fatboy told Olive that, “Trust me, ever since I changed my perception towards relationships, my heart has been filled with peace, a lot of peace. If you ever see me losing sleep, it won't be because of a woman. It will be because of money, business and those sorts of things,” he said.
