It is said that women do not like to apologize for their actions in a relationship and that they often gaslight their partners into doing so even when they were the ones wronged.
Speaking about whether women never own up to their mistakes, Olive Najjuma said that although she is one of those that apologize to their partners or friends in wrong, many do not.
“To a degree, some women never take responsibility for their actions because society has given us ready sympathy. So when I accuse a man of something, I am easily believed, and whatever I did to that man is easily swept under the carpet,” said Olive during The Fatboy Show.
Her co-host James Onen added that most women apologize with their actions than with words.
“They apologize by moving their behinds closer to you during spoony, sending you a clear signal that it is her apology, take or leave it. And most men take it,” he said.
He admitted that much as most men apologize for the sake of it, they do apologize, unlike women.
Cynthia, a caller on the show, agreed that most times, men apologize without any actions to prove remorse. She said that a change in behavior is the only way to prove that the apology was real.
