Olive: The King Of Tooro Needs To Marry

Bishop Reuben Kisembo of Rwenzori Diocese broke the ice during King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru's 27th coronation ceremony when he urged the King to find his rib so that it assists him in executing his duties.

During King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV's coronation, Bishop Kisembo said the King is of age and it was time he gets a suitable companion to run the kingdom.

Re-asserting the plea, Olive Najjuma, The Fatboy Show presenter, said the King of Tooro needs to marry as soon as possible.

"The Bishop is right. The king needs a queen as soon as yesterday because he is now thirty, can you imagine!" She said during a conversation with her co-host Fatboy.

"There has to be a legacy because he became a king at three. So in case anything happened, God forbid, there has to be someone to take over," she added.

Fatboy argued that perhaps King Oyo's assumption of the throne at a young age never allowed him to blend with people among whom he could have dated.

"For instance, Prince Charles lived a normal life, yes he was a Prince but got to mingle with the locals, went to school with them, and eventually married a schoolmate," said Fatboy.

He reasoned that, having assumed kingship at three, King Oyo must have been shielded for a long time and that he never got to live his life freely if he were a prince first.

Olive insisted that the Tooro king has often been spotted at hangouts. “Being a young man, he still got to enjoy his life despite being a king,” she argued.

Fatboy wondering if so why the King remains a bachelor, Olive surmised that he must be treading the journey slowly and carefully.

"But I applaud him for that. You don't want the same scandals that have been following his sisters to follow him," she contemplated.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, and Sarah every weekday from 6 am to 10 am on RX Radio.
