Olive: NUP MPs Who Took The 40 Million Named Their Price

The National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi rebuked his NUP Members of Parliament that rejected his plea to return the 40 million shillings given to them as a token of appreciation for passing an alleged supplementary budget.

Kyagulanyi slammed the politicians yesterday during the last funeral rites of the late Ffeffekka Serubogo Muhammad, the former LCV Chairperson of Kayunga District who died under mysterious circumstances last year.

He also called them out for betraying their voters' confidence and diverting from the mandates they had toward their voters.

During The Fatboy Show today, RX Radio presenter Olive Najjuma said that by accepting the reward for passing the supplementary budget, the NUP MPs had abandoned their values since it was allegedly in favor of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

“Members of the opposition in Parliament who took this money named their price. They portrayed that they are for sale in the event that if someone offers them a good deal, he/ she will have their allegiance,” she said.

Olive went on to remind James Onen, her co-host about her earlier speculations after the general elections that NUP has many young representatives in Parliament, many from humble backgrounds, and how they would easily be bribed.

To their voters, she advised them to watch the steps and actions of their legislators so that they can make informed decisions in the next parliamentary elections.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, and Sarah every weekday from 6 am to 10 am on RX Radio.
