Lesham: Protect Your Hearts from Aging

The Fatboy Show Presenter Lesham Kenogo has advised listeners to protect themselves from stress factors that may contribute to making their hearts age.

While hosting the show with Daniel Omara, Lesham revealed that an autopsy carried out on the body of Martin Luther King found that his heart was aged at 60 years though he had died at 39.

According to her, the autopsy attached this age difference between his body and his heart due to the stress King Martin Luther encountered during his life.

“The world is stressful, and now that we are going through a global pandemic, imagine how old our hearts have aged in just the past two years! For these two years, I am just proud to even have a house to live in because it's been rough,” she lamented.

She further said that with the consolation around the situation, social media has also been a trigger of stress that she now plans on selling her phone.

However, Daniel argued that though the times have been tough, people have adjusted to Covid so well that hearts may be older but stronger.

“I don't know if mine is 20 years older, but I hope not.” Surprised by the age King Martin Luther died at, Daniel wondered that he might be under utilising himself and what he is capable of .

However, he consoled himself saying that the average age of a CEO is 55 and that of a millionaire is 50 and said that they were still very far from there.

Additionally Lesham noted that she doesn't accept the term ‘broke’ anymore arguing that it's a temporary situation that shouldn’t define or change her standards as a person.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, Sarah and Lesham every weekday from 6am to 10am on RX Radio.
