Fatboy: It's Reckless to Threaten The Sovereignty Of Another Nation

Yesterday Twitter users in Uganda and Kenya were caught by surprise following tweets the Commander Land forces made about invading and capturing neighboring Kenya.

In one of the notable tweets, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba also the first son tweeted, “Haha! I love my Kenyan relatives. Constitution? Rule of law? You must be joking! For us, there is only the Revolution and you will soon learn about it!”

In another tweet that went exceedingly viral, he said; “It wouldn't take us, my army and me, 2 weeks to capture Nairobi.” This shockingly stirred jumbled reactions from both Kenyans and Ugandans most wondering whether the General’s account was hacked or whether it was all a joke.

On the Fatboy Show, while discussing the sensational tweets, James Onen, the Fatboy Show presenter known as Fatboy the tweets even though they were jokes, were reckless for him to make them given his position.

“It's one thing t troll and to joke but to threaten or even suggest that “we can invade” is reckless. It's like me going to my neighbor and saying by the way I can take your beautiful wife. If I want it can take me 3 days to sleep with her, Of course, it could be a joke but my neighbor wouldn’t take it lightly,” he said.

When the first son tweeted that in Uganda there’s only revolution, Fatboy wondered why the first son would pride himself in illiberalism.

“Even the revolutionaries who came to power through a coup, at least pay lip service to democracy talks. His father who staged the most recent revolution almost immediately emphasized rule of law because it's one thing to act like you don't care about democracy and another to confirm it, which he did in this case,” he said.

Olive Najjuma, the co-presenter of the show added that the first son is giving credence to the allegations that NRM is always rigging elections. “Now we don’t know what’s going to happen if he vies for Presidency via the NRM ticket. He’s already confirming that whatever happens, NRM will take the votes,” she said.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, and Sarah every weekday from 6 am to 10 am on RX Radio.
