People share gifts to express love and appreciation for their loved ones, to celebrate events, or for purposes of apology. However, with the skyrocketing prices of commodities on the market, finding a lovely and modest gift for your partner can be daunting.
On the Fatboy Show today, while talking about the cheapest thing his lover can give him, James Onen said it would be the peace of mind.
“It costs nothing to be quiet. It will not hurt you to be silent and allow a man to relax, watch a movie, play with his dogs, or sleep without you saying anything. Don't speak until spoken to. If you have something to say, seek permission.” he said.
Fatboy added that many men value peace of mind as the cheapest gift their women could give them.
But according to Olive, the kind of peace James demands is authoritarian, and certainly wouldn’t subscribe to it.
“I should be able to speak to you without seeking permission. I understand there could be moments when you do not want to talk to someone. I also have plenty of them. But If we live together, and every time I have to seek permission to talk to you, that is not a relationship I would want to be part of,” she said.
However, When asked about the cheapest gift she would be happy to receive, Olive mentioned that it would be a book because she can pass it to her kids.
“If I think of anything else, like a cheap pair of shoes, someone may get me shoes I will not wear,” she said.
