Fatboy’s Guilty Pleasure is an Oreo Milk Shake

RX Radio presenter James Onen aka Fatboy has revealed that he is mesmerized by the taste of the Oreo milkshake from Café Javas which he now terms as his guilty pleasure.

Fatboy said that although he has over the past years restrained himself from taking dairy products because he is majorly lactose intolerant and also because he is on a strict Keto diet, he often finds Oreo milkshake irresistible and often finds himself taking it.

“Although dairy fills my stomach with gas sometimes, I just can’t avoid taking it. The taste is totally out of this world,” he said during Friday’s the Fatboy show.

His co-host Olive Najjuma also noted that she finds the drink extremely enjoyable and impulsively buys it from time to time.

During the same show, the two hosts also discussed the demise of the deceased President of Tanzania John Pombe Magufuli and his policies on the Covid-19 pandemic.

Magufuli died of heart complications on Wednesday at the Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute in Dar es Salaam where he has been hospitalised since 7th march 2021 according to now Tanzania president Samia Suluhu Hassan. However, there have been unsubstantiated claims especially by his main opposition rival Tundu Lissu, that he died of Covid 19.

Olive noted that although she was saddened by the death of the largely celebrated African leader, she did not like the way Tanzania’s fallen leader handled the whole Covid-19 pandemic issue.

“Even if him as a person was skeptical about the reality of Covid-19, as a leader and a head of a nation, he had a responsibility to put the lives of the citizens ahead of his ideas. He should have strongly emphasised basic measures like wearing of masks and social distancing, but most importantly, shouldn’t have stopped publishing Covid-19 information or even mass testing. It is rumoured that so many people have died in Tanzania during this period but we will never know the truth because there are no records to substantiate the allegations,” She said.

Fatboy noted that even though President Magufuli seems to have lost the battle to a disease he did not believe, his legacy will still stand as a man who lived and died on his own terms.
