Fatboy: It Looks Like The Muhoozi Project Is Coming To Fruition

As speculations around Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba being groomed for presidency continue to revolve, Fatboy has conceded to arguments that the Muhoozi project is real.

The Fatboy Show Presenter came to the conclusions after the first son’s visits to four different heads of state in Africa, with the most recent being Abdel Fattah El- Sisi, the President of Egypt.

“So it looks like the Muhoozi project is real. All this points to the fact that he's positioning himself as a statesman. I don't know if it’s at his own behest or part of an engineered attempt to insert him in these diplomatic roles because there’s no reason why he ought to be doing that in his own capacity as the Commander Land Forces. These diplomatic visits could be shaping him for that world,” he commented.

However, Olive Najjuma, his Co-host, claimed that there are allegations that the former Chief Defence Forces David Muhoozi could be the actual person behind the Muhoozi project, and not from the first son Muhoozi Kainerugaba. David Muhoozi is a military officer, lawyer and currently serves as the Minister of State of Internal Affairs.

Regardless, Fatboy still insisted that the only figure that is being publicized in this realm is the President’s son, Kainerugaba.

Additionally, he said that although there are a number of charismatic political figures that have emerged on the presidential scene, none can easily acquire power hence the only one that could transition into the position effortlessly is the first son.

“Two years from now when Museveni says he's stepping down and Muhoozi is to run for president, it will be easier to swallow in the eyes of the public because by then we will have grown accustomed to seeing him traveling to different countries and meeting with several heads of state.”

This, according to the two presenters, would undeniably establish Gen. Muhoozi as the most capable presidential candidate. However, Fatboy asserted that although Muhoozi is establishing relations and familiarity with African heads of state, just like his father, he needs to do the same with the masses.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive and Sarah every weekday from 6am to 10am on RX Radio.
