If you had the chance to choose between social media, sex, and shopping, which one would you keep and be willing to lose?
James Onen, The Fatboy Show host, would choose social media because someone can access the other two over the social media platforms.
“Once you have social media, you will have the other two because most hookups happen through social media (in the DMs). Most of the shopping also happens on social media. From ads to online businesses,” Fatboy reasoned.
However, a participant called Peace said she would choose shopping over sex and social media.
“In this era, social media has done more harm than good. I prefer shopping, and spending time with my girlfriends. We have been trapped in the digital world that we no longer bond with friends and family,” she said.
Fatboy held that through social media, one does the shopping and acquires sex.
“Social media is just brimming with attention-seeking narcists that at the slightest compliment will be quick to hop in bed with you,” he said.
His co-host Olive Najjuma was challenged by the question that she found it hard dropping two admitting a similar desire for shopping, sex, and social media.
