RX Radio proprietor and the presenter of The Fatboy Show has said Musician turned Politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine will soon or later lose the current popularity that he has if he does not fulfill the political expectations of his supporters.
According to Fatboy, most of the people that support Bobi Wine support him not because they believe he can change Uganda for the better but because they think he is in a better position to oust the incumbent President Yoweri Museveni that has been ruling the country for more than 35 years.
“Dr Kiiza Besigye used to enjoy the same kind of popularity and love from Ugandans that feel the current President has overstayed in power and should be replaced, but right now, there are only a few people that support him. He has even lost popularity on social media. All his supporters have now shifted to Bobi Wine, when Bobi Wine stands for three times and he does not win an election, Ugandans will move on to another popular politician that would be fresh at the time,” Fatboy said on the Thursday morning show.
Bobi Wine who is the President of the newly formed National Unity Platform came second in the just concluded election with 35% of the cast votes while President Museveni got 57% making him the winner of the just concluded election and the President of Uganda for the next five years.
Olive Najjuma who is a co-host on The Fatboy said that it would be wise for Bobi Wine to only stand twice and leave active politics if he doesn’t go through the next time.
