RX Radio presenter Daniel Omara today morning claimed that social media has destroyed the world's sanity by making people go crazy over likes and followers.
This was during The Fatboy Show as he and Lesham commented on the queer photographs taken by Jayne Rivera, a 20-year-old model and Instagram influencer, who shared images of her posing infront of her dad’s open casket on Instagram.
The photos that went viral faced social media backlash, with Rivera dressed in a fitted black blazer dress as she stood by the coffin of her late father, fallen 56-year-old Jose Antonio Rivera, a veteran that had served in Afghanistan.
“This chick literally took pictures in front of her dad’s open casket while popping booty. The worst part for me is that she was white and didn't even have that booty to pop. So she had to work to get her shot and her dad’s ghost was just there staring at her like, ‘look what I raised!’ Is it the apple or the tree?” Lesham wondered.
Daniel in response said, “This one is just a weed that grew separate from all the plants. Also, social media came to destroy the world. Last week we were celebrating World Internet day where I was telling people that all these amazing things came from the internet but so did these trolls and craziness,” he said.
Lesham mentioned that these are the unintended results of social media, just like any other action that creates an opposite and equal reaction, though this one is creating more absurdity.
“This is why we need ‘Big Mama’ back in the community to instill morals into these kids because this kind of disrespect is extreme. If I die and someone makes these sexy poses at my coffin, I will haunt and slap you in your dream,” Daniel joked.
The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, Sarah and Lesham every weekday from 6am to 10am on RX Radio.
