Lesham: I keep a minimum look to conserve the environment

RX Radio Presenter Lesham Kenogo has said that she adopted looking simple after learning that a lot of biological wastes were being produced by females.

“I adopted a minimum life for two major reasons. Firstly, I read that most biological wastes in the world are due to women. Back in the day, women would recycle their braids but since they are now cheap and accessible, the average woman can braid and undo their hair in two weeks. How many braids are then trashed? And that is just one one woman.”

Furthermore, she mentioned that a woman uses over 16800 sanitary towels in her lifetime; in addition to ingesting more than 5 pounds of chemicals yearly from beauty products which is harmful.

Fatboy in turn responded that he too experienced the nightmare of makeup when he once woke up to a waste basket overflowing with wipes from makeup used by his lover. Additionally, he said that women who use too much makeup do so because they want to look more attractive and because they have little self-confidence.

“I think some women are attached to makeup due to app filters so they try to maintain the image presented on social media by using makeup to compensate for the lack of natural beauty,” said Fatboy.

But Lesham affirmatively said that even when a woman is not naturally gifted, the level of confidence with which she presents herself determines how pretty people will perceive her instead of using makeup that gives a non-existent self esteem.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy and Lesham Kenogo every weekday from 6am to 10am on RX Radio.
