Fatboy: Lockdown Demotivated People Of Their Will To Be Productive

Earlier today on RX Radio, Fatboy voiced his opinion on how prolonged lockdowns have stripped people of their will to be productive.

The Fatboy Show host, together with Lesham, were discussing the increased laziness among people especially after the onset of the pandemic and lockdown restrictions.

“On my social media feed, I noticed that there was an unusual demand for hiring workers globally, indicating that in the US alone, over 1.4 millions job positions had become vacant because of the outrageous numbers of people quitting their jobs,” Lesham revealed.

Fatboy in response to this said, “I think this is one of the unforeseen consequences of the lockdowns that has stripped people of their will to thrive, most especially the youth. Movements were limited as well as opportunities to socialize that it has now sapped all the energy out of them.”

Lesham too added that the lockdown gave people time to re-evaluate their lives and how they can survive when they were confined to their homes. Now, some feel comfortable that way.

“During the lockdown, I realised the minimum I could live on and I was amazed because we got to learn how to live on the bare minimum which worked perfectly.”

However, Fatboy recognised that global lockdowns might have positively changed the norms on survival from life rotating around work and profit making to other comfortable ways of surviving.

The Fatboy show is hosted by James Onen aka Fatboy, Olive, Sarah and Lesham every weekday from 6am to 10am on RX Radio.
